Beacons Farm Shop is part of the the Welsh Venison Centre at Middlewood Farm. The Welsh Venison Centre has been farming, breeding and protecting deer for decades. We produce premium quality venison for the wholesale, catering and retail market from deer reared on our farm. Established for over twenty years, we were the first Venison Centre to become accredited as both a farm and processing unit under the Quality Mark for Farmed Venison, rewarding their commitment to high standards of animal welfare and meat processing.

Our venison is produced to the high standards of the Quality Mark and prepared in our own modern processing unit which meets EU legislation. We make sure that all working practices meet the relevant red meat legislation. Our meat is dispatched fresh and is specially packaged, chilled or frozen. Specific cuts and orders can be supplied by Mail Order.

Selected specialist butchers also stock produce from The Welsh Venison Centre. Regular deliveries are made throughout Wales and the Midlands to wholesale and catering clients by the The Welsh Venison Centre's own refrigerated transport.
